Roshelle first found her love for teaching when she was given the opportunity to have been mentored by Trillium's director, Erin McKeever for several years as a Teacher's Assistant and then later became a teacher at the age of 15. When Roshelle graduated from high school she danced professionally with Paradosi Ballet Company, began teaching at Charisma, and became certified in Progressing Ballet Technique. Over this journey Roshelle is so grateful for all the wonderful students she gets to work with and is excited to see all the different ways they grow.
Roshelle first started dancing at the age of four at North Coast Dance where she later moved to dance with Trillium Dance Studios in Arcata, California. It was there where she studied under Erin McKeever and Islay Dillon-Ogden, focusing primarily on ballet and contemporary. While at Trillium she was first a member of the Trillium Dance Jr. Ensemble and later was asked to join the studio's company dancing as a soloist at the age of 13. As a student she attended many summer ballet intensives some of which included Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Oregon Ballet Theater, Ballet Magnificat, Bolshoi Ballet, and Sacramento Ballet.
