Dancer account balances will be charged on the 1st of each month to the credit card on file. All account balances must be paid in full by the 5th of each month to avoid a $25 late fee.

Tuesday, September 8th - Charisma’s Fall 2020 through Spring 2021 Course session begins.
October
Sunday, October 25th through Saturday, October 31st - Students may wear costumes to dance. There will be class on
Halloween.
November
Saturday, November 15th - Costume deposits of $35.00 per class are charged (Technique classes will not perform in the recital)
Wednesday, November 25th through Sunday, November 29th - Thanksgiving break – No Class. (Classes will resume Monday,
November 30th.)
December
Friday, December 18th through Friday, January 1st - Winter break - No Class. (Classes will resume Saturday, January 2nd.)

Monday, February 15th - Competition fees are due for Starbound Dance Competition. (Solos $120, Duo/Trio $135 divided
amongst the dancers, Small and large groups are $54 per person. Turn fees into Ms. Erin.)
March
Monday, March 1st - Competition fees are due for Groove Dance Competition. (Solos $115, Duo/Trio $67 per dancer, Small and large groups $50 per person. Turn fees into Ms. Erin.)
Sunday, March 28th - Tickets for Charisma’s spring recital go on sale from 1:00-3:00 pm. Tickets are $15.00 each this day only.
If you cannot pick up your tickets, another family may pick them up for you. Tickets will be $20.00 thereafter. Tickets will
be available until the day of the performance. The tickets are sold at Charisma School of Dance. Performers will not need a
ticket. Tickets for our recital are reserved seating.
April
Spring break Monday, April 5th through Sunday, April 11th Spring Break - No class. (Classes resume Monday, April 12th.)
Friday April 30th through Sunday, May 2nd - Starbound Dance Competition. This is a mandatory dance competition for our
competition dancers. It is held at Highline Performing Arts Center 401 South 152nd St. Burien, 98166.
May
Friday May 14th through Sunday May 16th - Groove Dance Competition. This is a mandatory dance competition for our
competition dancers. It is held at at Byrnes Performing Arts Center 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd Arlington, 98223.
Friday, May 28th through Monday, May 31st - Memorial weekend – No Class. (Classes resume Tuesday, June 1st.)
June
Tuesday, June 1st - TUITION, LATE FEES, OR OTHER DELLINQUENT PAUEMENTS ARE DUE! FAILURE TO PAY YOUR ACCOUNT IN
FULL WILL RESULT IN YOUR DANCER NOT BEING ABLE TO PERFORM IN THE END OF THE YEAR SPRING RECITAL.
Saturday, June 12th - Company Auditions. This is open to all Charisma dancers and dancers outside of Charisma. Existing
company members will need to re-audition if they are interested in remaining in company for the 2021-2022 season.
Auditions will begin at 1:15pm and a schedule of audition styles, ages, and levels will be available closer to the audition
date. There will be a mandatory company meeting at 1:15pm for the parents of the dancers auditioning.
Thursday, June 10th through Wednesday, June 16th - Picture week at Charisma. Company dancers will have all of their
company pictures on Sunday, June 13th. This is the week the dancers wear their costumes, hair, and make up to get their
pictures taken. Pictures will be taken during their normal class time. The teachers will go over hair, make up, tights, and
shoe information with the dancers. Company pictures will start at 1:00pm. There will be a company picture schedule
available as we get closer to the date.
Thursday, June 17th - Rehearsal for Charisma’s Spring Recital “I Will Survive” Rehearsal begins at 5:00 pm.

be informed well before ticket selling day to ensure everyone knows if we are having one or two shows and which show
their dancer will be in.

Due to COVID-19 many of our community performances that we participate in have been put on hold. We will let our dancers know if we have any community performances that present themselves over the year.
